God has given us the ministry of RECONCILIATION…. NOT of SEPERATION

This is the sharing with others of coming home, and of FAMILY. To tell others what we know – the Father is good, come home! He has reconciled us to Him through Jesus Christ.

The word reconcile in 2 Corinthians 5:18 has the meaning ‘to exchange, or to change mutually. Through His death, Jesus exchanged His soul to pay for our death & destroyed sin which held the power of death. To bring us back what we lost – ourselves.

The ministry of reconciliation is not a gospel of separation, but of belonging & love. Not loneliness & meaninglessness, but of seeing our value & purpose.

It’s about coming back to your Father in true recognition of who He really is. The hell gospel is the opposite of this – it scares us into a relationship with a scary Father. It’s basically a disguised threat.

He is waiting in supreme joy to gather you in His arms and show you who He truly is!

RECONCILIATION is the end of estrangement! It is meeting in love again despite whatever divided you.

And at the cross, He took that divide away – the wall of separation – the belief He left us. The tormented mind of feeling left alone – wondering ‘who am I?’

Look within, at Him, and you will see you!

2 Corinthians 5:18-19 — Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
