Christ : all and in all. Spirit’s translation of Colossians 3:10-11

A Holy Spirit interpretation of :

Colossians 3:10-11 – ..and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free , but Christ is all and in all.

Below is what I call ‘Spirit’s interpretation’ of these verses. It is a quick insight of what the Spirit spoke in me as I was inspired about these verses.

‘There is a new knowledge that you have put on because old man sin is dead – it is a knowledge that is based on the image of God, who created you.

There, in His image, where your true identity is, the ‘new’ knowledge lives – and yet it’s been since the beginning! It hasn’t been perceived, but now it’s coming to light.

It is important that you understand that God makes no distinction like man does. ALL are included. Labels like: Jew, Greek, barbarian, slave, free, Christian…are man-made ones. God does not discriminate – these labels are made from an old knowledge that is foolishness to God.

His judgment was once and for all in the cross & resurrection of Jesus Christ – ALL have been restored in His image. Christ IS all, and He is in ALL. He’s the same yesterday, today, forever – and so this fact has always been the truth from before the foundation of the world.’

Here are some thoughts I had while meditating on this that I pray will bless you:

Jesus is digging your true image up to bring it to the surface. Like a diamond pulled from deep in the earth, your heart is the earth and He’s causing your value to be seen. The true you.

Jesus is the Seed buried in a field (remember ‘you are God’s field’! 1Cor3:9). The Seed is already where it belongs, but it needs water.

Jesus said to the woman at the well (who represents us all as one woman, His church) – if you ask I would give you living water and you would never thirst again. This water is His words of truth – they are like water falling on your heart that cause your Seed to germinate and grow. This is a picture of your identity finally starting to grow, finally you’re beginning to know who you are.. and you’re growing up in all things into the Head – Christ. You’re growing up into your mature form.

Here is some good ‘water’ for you today! :

You are not a sinner and never have been! (more on this in my next record)…there is ‘every good thing’ in you in Christ Jesus (Philemon 1:6). Every good thing is in your Seed, to make you grow into a mature tree that bears fruit in every season! You are a beautifully unique expression of God & you have always belonged to Him. In fact, He decided to live as one with you – this should show you at least one thing – that you are the good soil!
